A. General Enrollment Steps

B. Early Childhood Care Enrollment

Starting School Year 2025-2026, SLSDB will implement the updated DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2025, which extends Kindergarten eligibility to children who turn five on or before October 31, instead of the previous June 1 cut-off by DepEd Order No. 20, s. 2018.

To enroll in Kindergarten, a child must have completed an Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) program from a DepEd-recognized institution. Those with birthdays between November 1 and December 31 may still qualify, with conditions based on DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2025, which includes presenting a Completion Certificate. This policy aims to broaden access to formal education and ensure smoother progression to Grade 1.

C. Senior High School Enrollment

For Senior High School learners, the procedures follow the General Enrollment Steps during the First Semester. For the Second Semester, the following steps apply:

  1. Every learner receives an Enrollment Clearance. The SHS Coordinator signs it once the learner is cleared of academic and non-academic requirements. The Principal signs last after evaluation.
  2. The learner proceeds to the Office of the Registrar for filling out enrollment forms, updating data, advising, and approval.
  3. Payment of school fees follows at the Accounting Office.
  4. The learner returns to the Office of the Registrar for validation of the school ID.

D. Enrollment Procedure For New Learners / Transferees (Outside of Scheduled Dates of Enrollment)

Prior to any enrollment procedures all incoming new students are required to take the Entrance Test in the Guidance Center. After the Entrance Test, an interview with the Principal follows. If he/she passes, the following procedures shall be followed:

  1. Go to the Office of the Registrar and fill in all the Enrollment Forms. Submit required admission credentials (School Form 9, Certificate of Good Moral Character, Photocopy of NSO/PSA Birth Certificate, Transcript of Records, Photocopy of Parents’ Marriage Certificate, Photocopy of Baptismal Certificate).
    Note: Requirements for Foreign Students or Aliens are all of the above plus Special Study Permit (SSP) in Appendix B.
  2. Submit the Enrollment Data Sheet to any Registrar Personnel for encoding, advising, and confirmation of enrollment status.
  3. Proceed to the Accounting Office for payment of school fees.
  4. Go to the Library for book claiming and school ID pictorial.
  5. Proceed to the P.E. stockroom to claim P.E. uniforms.

E. Online Enrollment

The online enrollment process may be conducted by the Office of the Registrar. For every completed step, a communication will be sent to keep you informed. All transactions are processed during official office hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

F. ESC and SHS Voucher Program Application

ESC (Educational Service Contracting)

The ESC Grant helps eligible Grade 7 Filipino learners attend private junior high schools by providing tuition subsidies until Grade 10.

SHS Voucher Program

The SHS-VP provides financial aid for Senior High School education in private schools. Applications open yearly through the PEAC portal.
